Emmy Scarterfield is the talented designer behind leading London accessory label ‘Emmy London’.

“I’ve always had a passion for shoes. I grew up in Somerset and my village was home to super brand ‘Mulberry’, so to launch my own luxury label didn’t seem that unrealistic. One of my first memories is of putting wooden building blocks in my socks to create instant high heels!”

Following her degree at the prestigious Cordwainers College, Emmy worked for five years in Italy for some of top names in accessories including Bottega Veneta and Giorgio Armani.

“When I worked in Italy I was in a really fortunate position to work with the factory that make Manolo Blahnik shoes. The craftsmanship and accuracy of their work has always inspired me to raise the bar.”

On her return to the UK she set her sights high on her own luxury brand and as her friends started getting married, spotted a gap in the market for beautiful, elegant and feminine bridal shoes and brought her unique creative vision to the luxury wedding market. The Emmy brand has since gone from strength to strength, and after 10 years is considered to lead the way in this niche market. Initially offering only bespoke bridal shoes ‘Emmy’ has grown to include ready to wear, bags, belts and hair decorations.

"I absolutely love working with The Bespoke Wardrobe, the passion, dedication and sheer joy oozes from the place and people. Brides to be are in very capable, safe and expert hands for every step of their bridal journey. The very talented, professional and lovely Reggie and Mary (the co-founders) make a fantastic team, they instantly strike the prefect balance of making every bride feel special but at complete ease all at the same time. I’ve worked with the duo right from the start and have enjoyed watching their business blossom. I feel very lucky to have them represent and nurture my brand.
